Our trek today took us out to the edge of the valley to Nagarkot. On one of the mountain peaks there is an observation tower from which, on a clear day, one can see Mount Everest. We saw clouds. However the kids had a blast climbing on and around the tower.
We made a quick stop on the way down the mountain to take a turn on one of the festival swings.
We then went to Bhaktapur for lunch (another roof top café) and site seeing. Bhaktapur is the 3rd of the 3 main cities in the valley (after Kathmandu and Patan). It is the agricultural and religious hub of the valley.
