More school!

It has taken some time for those pesky laces to cooperate, but Saoirse has mastered tying a bow!

Jael and Tekla have taken over some of the reading to the younger two for me. This week, the maintenance guys had to come fix the a/c in the maid's room, and the maid was vacuuming, so it was kinda loud. J decided to take Saoirse out side to read. It is still kind-of warm, but they were out there a short enough time it wasn't bad.

Jael has been doing a much better job of managing her time lately too. She is finding that if she puts the work in, there is more time for fun after school is over. J has also discovered that she likes researching and typing "mini-reports" and has started doing some in her free time. So far she has done "Molly Pitcher", "Thomas Jefferson" and "Valley Forge".

Tekla is also zooming through her work, though recently, things seem to have gotten more challenging. It will be interesting how she deals with actually having to work at something.

Mordecai is now a master of navigating starfall.com. Now he can manipulate the touch pad on the computer, and "do his ABC's" more independently. He is eager to do his school work and get some computer time of his own while I work with big sisters!
