Speeding on two wheels - She finally got it!
To help Tekla get the hang of riding on two wheels we have been spending several sessions at the clubhouse parking lot near our house riding in circles. We go early in the morning when not many people are there.

Just this week has she really gotten the hang of it.

Jael is excited to have someone to race with now - Saoirse can almost keep up but her little bike just can't go that fast.

We bring Mordecai's car or trike along too. I just load him and his vehicle on the wagon and drag them along till we get there and he can zoom around where I can see him and work with Tek.

...and when Saoirse isn't riding her bike...

In fact Tekla was riding so well, yesterday we went on a long bike ride (the girls on their bikes and Cai in the trailer behind me). Love this weather!

It's beginning to look like Christmas...
...if you like Christmas without snow, and I do. I'm gonna miss these winters. Anyway, we got a new camera so I thought I'd share some of our Christmas decorating pictures.

The paper chain on the stairs is our "Thankful Chain" from this years Thanksgiving dinner. The past few years it has been out tradition to write as many things as we can think of for which we are thankful on strips of paper and make them into a chain. The chain is the first Christmas decoration we put up each year. The white chains on the Christmas tree are the chains from past years.

No pictures...
Sorry, last weekend the camera went AWOL during a trip to the beach. It was a fun trip with snorkeling and sand mound building. Until the camera is found or replaced, vidieos and pictures will have to be put on hold.
